Hi there and welcome!
PhunBucket was formed when three dads from Harvard got together to play on a float in the 2019 Harvard Fourth of July parade, in support of the town’s fledgling Girls’ Softball program. All of us had played in many other bands, but something about this group “clicked” – we found we could read each other and easily pick up new songs, take them in new directions, and have a blast while doing it.
The band should probably be called “PhunBucket and Friends” because we really do have a lot of really talented friends, and at most of our performances a few of them will join us for a song, a set, or the whole show! We also love helping young aspiring musicians, and we’ll invite kids from the Harvard school music programs or just from the audience to sing and play with us – if you want to perform, don’t be shy – tell us!
